Bringing a family member in for a surgical procedure is never easy. At Northeastern Veterinary Care Center, we understand exactly what you’re going through because we’re pet owners too. Rest assured that we’ll do whatever it takes to ensure that your loved one’s procedure is as stress-free as possible.
The surgical care at Northeastern Veterinary Care Center begins with preoperative screening. This helps us to reduce the risk of complications for your pet. We’ll also develop a safe, effective plan to keep your pet comfortable and pain-free – before, during and following surgery.
Whether routine or advanced, your pet’s procedure will be our top priority. From the moment you arrive, we’ll be there to ease your mind and help keep pet relaxed and comfortable.
Once safely sedated, our team will complete the surgery as efficiently as possible. As the doctor works, our dedicated support staff will be there at all times, assisting with surgery and closely monitoring your pet’s wellbeing.
After surgery, we’ll carefully relocate your pet to our recovery area, where our staff will offer comfort and reassurance.
When you arrive to retrieve your pet, we will go over our aftercare instructions, including an individualized plan for pain management.
Surgery doesn’t have to be a source of anxiety, especially if you’ve got the compassionate, experienced team at Northeastern Veterinary Care Center in your corner. Contact us today and let’s discuss how we can help with all of your companion’s surgical care needs.

The loving care they give my dogs Freddie and Goose can’t be beat. There is no one who I trust more with my beloved furry friends’ care.Posted on Google Robert PhillipsTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Absolutely the best! Dr. Beal and her staff were incredibly communicative, helpful, and supportive, when we needed an ad hoc vet appointment for our cat this summer when we were in the Mystic area. Her follow-up and attention to detail is amazing, and we couldn’t recommend her enough. Thank you, Dr. Beal!Posted on Google YNS WARRIORTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. The treatment service was sensational and left my dog in great relief after it stepped on a nail. They worked hard on ensuring that all my needs were met as well for future treatment plans.Posted on Google Michele CotterTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We were there to have our Golden Retriever spayed. As always, everyone was so kind and so attentive - to us and to Millie Clementine.Posted on Google Christy JurgensTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I never hesitate to bring any of my 3 cats and 2 dogs to Dr. Beal at Northeastern Veterinary Care Center. Last week we had our beagle mix’s teeth cleaned and she had a cavity. They called me before they did the work to remove it and asked if I wanted the work done. No unexpected bills with them! I always know what is going on. Of course I had the tooth pulled and my girl is recovering at home. Dr. Beal is the most thorough vet I have ever been to.Posted on Google David LevineTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Brought our cats in for an annual checkup after moving to the area. Got great care and attention to detail from the entire staff. Follow up phone call to check for any reactions to vaccines, and two cats who were about as happy as a cat can be at a checkup.
