We are excited to announce that Northeastern Veterinary Care Center (NEVCC) will be opening soon in Mystic, CT. Located at 144 Whitehall Avenue, NEVCC occupies a historic site boasting a long history of local veterinarians dating back to 1953. Having long admired the property, upon seeing it come on the market this past year, Dr. Dianne M. Beal jumped on the opportunity. Following a recent job change, Dr. Beal then decided to take the plunge and open her own clinic, enabling her to focus not only on quality veterinary care for her animal patients, but also on the personalized attention to her clients for which she is so well known.
Though we’ve been an operational veterinary clinic for decades, we’ve embarked on an ambitious redesign of the facility to incorporate the latest breakthroughs in design and technology, all focused on improving efficiency and client/patient experience. Having already begun work, we hope to have completed the first phase of renovations in the next month or two and open our doors in late-May or early-June.
Coming along with Dr. Beal on this latest adventure is her husband, Clayton, a retired Coast Guard officer, who will be helping as her practice manager. And of course, her beloved hound Dobby and little pitty princess Rosie make regular appearances to make sure everything stays on schedule! We have also begun the process of assembling a great team to ensure we offer the best care possible.
We’ll keep you updated in the coming weeks on our progress and look forward to welcoming you to the NEVCC family this spring!
